During 1880, Henriette Poulle, the second wife of Albert Roux, eminent Mayor of La Londe from 1904 to 1921, acquired the Pascalette estate. Using her own funds, she undertook the transformation of this place, then composed mainly of farm buildings, arable land, vines, olive trees and woods, extending over more than 69 hectares<\/span><\/p>\n\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t

The majestic construction of the castle, the first traces of which date back at least to 1892, testifies to the refinement of the era. Attributed to the renowned architect Gaudensi Allar, this residence most likely became the home of the couple Albert and Henriette Roux after 1890. Anxious to make this place a true haven of peace, they built a stable there and began breeding race horses, while passionately cultivating vines and citrus fruits. In the cadastral registers of 1901, the castle is referenced as a \u201cvilla\u201d.<\/span><\/p>\n\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t

Innovative in his approach, Albert Roux had a steam pumping station installed on the Anglades property to draw water from the lower Gapeau water table. A pipe is then routed to a storage pond located on his La Coulerette property, providing a valuable water source for both that property and La Pascalette.<\/span><\/p>\n

Over the years, the estate evolved, and in the 2000s, the old stables were transformed into several g\u00eetes, offering visitors an authentic and picturesque experience of country life. More recently, the castle itself has been painstakingly renovated to provide luxurious guest accommodation whilst retaining its old-world charm.<\/span><\/p><\/p>\n\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t
